Hosted by the groom’s family, this destination rehearsal dinner in Vail, Colorado, was thoughtfully designed to welcome guests traveling from afar to celebrate the couple’s union. With intention at the forefront, the evening focused on connection, creating a meaningful gathering before the wedding day unfolded.
Every detail was carefully curated to complement the wedding rather than compete with it. Specialty rental linens, refined tabletop design, lush florals, layered décor, and live music created an elevated yet relaxed atmosphere, effortless, warm, and beautifully cohesive with the overall wedding vision.
The couple embraced fashion-forward rehearsal attire, reflecting the same refined aesthetic planned for their mountain wedding weekend. A light sprinkle of rain, often seen as a sign of good fortune, added an organic, romantic quality to the evening, resulting in candid, heartfelt moments captured during cocktail hour.
Set against the fresh alpine air and breathtaking backdrop of the Colorado mountain landscape, the rehearsal offered guests the luxury of time - time to gather, reconnect, and enjoy one another’s company without pressure. An intentional welcome, and the perfect beginning to a destination wedding celebration in the mountains.
01 The Rehearsal
Franki and her husband, Matthew, envisioned a wedding that celebrated their love for the Colorado mountains while thoughtfully weaving in the warmth and charm of the South. Traveling from Louisiana, they wanted their family and friends to experience not only the beauty of a destination mountain wedding, but also the hospitality and heartfelt details Southern weddings are known for.
From the very beginning, intention guided every choice. Custom monograms, keepsake koozies, a cigar bar with personalized matches, an elegantly displayed bridal portrait, and layered personal details throughout created a celebration that felt refined yet deeply personal. The couple even brought their beloved caterer from Louisiana, serving elevated Southern-inspired entrées that delighted guests and honored their roots.
As the evening unfolded, thoughtful surprises continued. A decadent late-night snack, complete with fries and burgers wrapped in custom monogrammed packaging, kept the energy high and ensured no detail was overlooked. The live band was electric, filling the dance floor all night as guests danced beneath the mountain sky under a beautifully designed tent.
To close the celebration, Franki and Matthew shared a private last dance together, soaking in the moment before guests gathered for a grand sparkler send-off. Enhanced with professional ground sparklers, the exit was nothing short of magical, a perfect ending to a night defined by joy, connection, and unforgettable celebration.

"Isabelle is an incredible wedding planner and I cannot say enough good things about working with her!
